UCSA, Uniting Christian Student Association The campsite where Daniel works belongs to this organisation. Daniel is in partnership with them.
mercy ships.org Anika and Daniel both worked with Mercy Ships in Sierra Leone in a project for people with disabilities. This is also where they met each other....
malamulele onwards Anika and Daniel are partin the outreaches of this organisation. They are having one-week intensive therapy outreaches for children with CP from underressourced areas in South Africa.

healthwrights.org David Werner is the author of "Where there is no doctor", "Disabled Village Children" and other books on Rehabilitation in Third world countries. He is also health activitst, that stands in for the rights of health for poor people. All his books are as pdf's freely available. Great resource!!!
apbt.org.uk Equipment for disabled people with appropriate paper based technology (APT). This great technique allows one to produce furniture and equipment for almost free.
cerebralpalsyafrica.org Offers training and other support for projects that help children with CP. Archie Hinchcliff is also the author from the excellent book "Children with Cerebral Palsy".

4. Open-Source Computersoftware:
Commercial computer programs like MS Office, Photoshop... are very expensive. Therefore it is common, that illegal copies are used. Even many Chrisitans use illegal copies. Somehow the Robin Hood mentality triggers in: "Those software giants have already too much money...". But it is clear and simple: Even when the programs are overpriced, copying them is stealing!!! The alternative is open source: programs that can be downloaded and copied for free, completly legal! The most famous programs are maybe Linux and Mozilla Firefox. But there are dozens of good quality and user friendly programs. We are mostly using open source programs and are very pleased with them. Here are our favourites:
Open office The alternative to Microsoft Office. It is a great program and even has bonuses like a PDF creating button, that Microsoft doesn't have. Very easy to learn, when familiar with MS Office.
Kompozer This website was created with Kompozer!!
Filezilla Free FTP program to upload the website pages on the server.
Portableapps.com Makes your open source programs portable and you can carry them on a stick with you. This is so handy!
