Privacy Policy

Thank you for your interest in our website. Below we inform you in detail about the handling of your data.

Use of data when registering for the e-mail newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use the data required for this purpose or provided separately by you in order to send you our e-mail newsletter regularly in accordance with your consent. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, either by sending a message via our contact page or via a link in the newsletter provided for this purpose.

How to contact us

As an interested party, customer or subscriber to the Timion newsletter, you voluntarily provide us with personal data via the Internet, post or telephone, which we record in our internal and self-administered address database for the purpose of processing your request for information.
If you send us an enquiry using the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provided there and the IP address, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. These data will not be passed on without your consent.

Use of cookies

Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser during your next visit.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, accept cookies for certain cases or generally exclude them and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Use of Google Analytics

In order to continuously improve our Internet presence, we need an overview of how our website is used. For this purpose, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google").

Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site.

Google uses these cookies to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services to us as the website operator in connection with the use of the website and the Internet.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will, however, be shortened by Google in advance within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA where it will be shortened. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.

In order to protect your privacy, the IP address, which is similar to a postal address and enables addressability and accessibility via the Internet, is anonymized before it is stored so that it can no longer be assigned to a connection. To this end, we have added the code "anonymizeIp" (also known as IP masking) to Google Analytics on this website.

You can prevent cookies from being saved by making the appropriate settings in your browser software. In this case, however, not all functions of our website may be fully available to you.

You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and Google from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting this data by clicking on the following link: Deactivating Google AnalyticsGoogle Analytics deaktivieren

No page is opened. By clicking this link once, the deactivation will be executed immediately. An Opt-Out-Cookie is set, which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website.

Further information on terms of use and data protection can be found at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/
